Star Flock GPSTerms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and Star Flock GPS ("Star Flock", "we") about your use of the app. By creating an account or using the app you agree to them and to the Privacy Policy.
Who can use it
You must be at least 13 to use Star Flock, and at least 18 to sell anything. If you give a false age to sell, we may remove your account.
Driving comes first
Star Flock is a driving aid, not a substitute for your own attention. Obey traffic laws, road signs and posted limits even where the app shows something different. Do not handle the phone while driving. Camera locations, speed limits, routes, incidents and alerts come from public and third-party sources, may be incomplete or out of date, and are provided as is.
Public safety information
Sex-offender registry, wanted-person, missing-person and incident information comes from official public sources and may be outdated or wrong. Check the official source before relying on it. Never use it to harass, threaten, harm or confront anyone — doing so may be a crime and will get your account removed. In an emergency, call 911.
Your content
You own what you post. You give Star Flock permission to store it, show it to other users and process it (including the safety checks described in the Privacy Policy) for as long as it is on the app. You are responsible for what you post and must have the right to post it.
What you may not post or do
- Nudity, pornography or sexual content, or anything sexualising minors.
- Selling or offering drugs, weapons, weapon parts, sex, fake IDs, stolen, counterfeit or any other illegal goods or services.
- Harassment, bullying, threats, or hate speech (attacks on people for their race, ethnicity, religion, sex, gender, sexual orientation, disability or origin).
- Vigilantism: using anything in the app — including registry, wanted, missing or incident information, or anyone's location — to track, confront, expose, threaten or punish a person.
- Content encouraging violence or self-harm.
- Other people's private information, or content you don't have the rights to.
- Scams, spam, or impersonating someone else.
- Trying to get around the app's safety checks, limits or security.
Reporting, blocking and enforcement
Every post, comment, listing, profile and conversation has a Report option, and you can block anyone from their posts, profile or a conversation. Posts, comments, listings, profiles and messages are checked against these rules before they go up. Our moderators review reports within 24 hours, remove content that breaks these terms, and suspend or permanently ban the accounts responsible. We report illegal activity, and anything endangering a child, to the authorities.
Buying and selling
Listings and offers are between buyers and sellers. Star Flock is not a party to any sale, does not hold payments, and does not guarantee items, sellers or buyers. Meet in public, and never send money before you see the item.
Subscriptions
Plans (Basic, Plus, Premium) are monthly subscriptions sold through Apple's App Store and renew automatically until you cancel in Settings › Apple ID › Subscriptions at least 24 hours before renewal. Free trials end when the trial period does. Post limits per plan are shown in the app. Refunds are handled by Apple.
Other services
The app links to and shows covers or previews from other companies' apps and websites (for example Apple Music, Spotify, YouTube and news sites). Buttons that leave the app are marked. Star Flock is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any of them; all trademarks belong to their owners, and their own terms apply.
Star, the assistant
Star's answers are generated by AI and can be wrong. Don't rely on them for legal, medical, financial or emergency decisions.
No warranty and limits of liability
The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, Star Flock is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from driving, from information in the app, from content posted by users, or from dealings between users.
Ending your use
You can stop using the app and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access for breaking these terms.
Changes
We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept it.
